Bifurcation continuum 2024: the journey continues
The overall approach of this bifurcation continuum 2024, is to provide a comprehensive “closer look” at currently applied bifurcation stenting techniques, ranging from provisional to T/TAP, Culotte and DK Crush.
The idea of a “closer look” is to use multimodality imaging- and bench test-derived insights to formulate optimal strategies for each of the bifurcation stenting techniques.
In order to provide uniformity in style, each IEC Webinar could combine real-life cases (preferably with intracoronary imaging) with corresponding images from Visible heart Lab (VHL), with the ultimate goal of dissecting the fundamental concepts for each stenting technique.
The IEC Webinars would thus represent live discussions centered around real-life cases, with corresponding supporting images/videos/animations/virtual reality, suitable for the digital format, avoiding a “lecture-styled” presentation of scientific data.
